Can semaglutide reverse aging?
Not according to the current evidence.
What is emerging is a promising signal that GLP-1 receptor agonists may slow some of the biological processes associated with aging. While still early, this research is shifting the conversation beyond weight loss and glycaemic control toward healthy aging.
As newer GLP-1 therapies emerge, the key question is no longer just how much weight they help people lose, but whether they can influence aging biology and which patients stand to benefit the most.
The science is evolving, and it's a space worth watching.
