New Stroke Rehab Guidelines (2026) Are Out!

 The American Heart Association and American Stroke Association have released updated guidelines for adult stroke rehabilitation and recovery, the first major update since 2016.

The updated stroke recovery guidance expands recommendations across comorbidity management, fracture and fall prevention, technology-enabled rehabilitation, caregiver support, and safe return to work and driving also highlighting ongoing evidence gaps and the need for further research.
