Who can publish a Case
The Case format is currently available to verified doctors and dentists, within their scope. Every professional can share experience in posts and articles.
Real Cases and teaching examples
A real Case is about a real person. A teaching example must be clearly labelled as invented.
Before each real Case
Remove identifying details and check whether the story, dates or images could still identify someone. Confirm and keep the permission needed for this Case and the way it will be shared. Describe care within your role and credit your sources.
Attachments and review
A text-only Case can be published after your own checks. When attachments are available, a Case with attachments waits for a named review of its current version, and a later change needs review again.
The first-use step
Agreeing to these habits once does not replace the permission and checks for each real Case.
Corrections and reports
Edit your Case to correct it. Readers can report a Case, and the moderation team reviews it.
